Abstract


It is our pleasure to present the Volume 8 of Turkish Journal of Electromechanics & Energy (TJEE). It started eighth years ago with enthusiasm and encouragement by friends, and countied with the long-lasting support of authors, reviewers and editorial board members. We have prepared this issue under the shadow of devastating earthquakes  of all times (rare in history of mankind, double-shaking within 9 hours in the same day and with magnitude above 7.5 )  that took place on Monday early morning and afternoon, February 6, 2023 in south-east Anatolia region of Türkiye, and Syria.  The earthquakes resulted left  more than 50 thousands people died, hundreds of thousands wounded solely in Türkiye, and more than 500.000 heavily-damaged  buildings  behind.
